the lost book episode 2

The second episode of The Lost Book launched on Friday.

It's particularly exciting, because it's the first of five episodes to be written by the public. The story was developed by visitors to www.thelostbook.net during February 2009 and sees intrepid Scottish journalist Aileen Adler and her dog Watson travelling to Iowa City in search of a stolen book and a secret society of bibliophiles.

You can watch episode 2, or catch up with the full story so far:

when animation goes mobile!

Madevi Dailly, creator of Life According to Dinosaurs, took part in a panel event in Birmingham on 04 March called "When Animation Goes Mobile".

Madevi spoke about her own experiences through Pocket Shorts (she's in the unique position of having both won a Pocket Shorts commission and, the following year, taken on the project co-ordination role). She also used our About Here films as a case study - her focus was on linking mobile animation to external factors.
