Wow! Things have been hectic over at The Lost Book. Episode 1 of the web series launched on 30 January and in the two weeks since then we've been working on the plot of episode 2.
This is no ordinary story development process. We've been asking for plot suggestions from visitors to the website, then we've used polls to decide which ideas to take forward. (Right now you can vote to decide the name of a new character, from a shortlist of audience suggestions.)
Catch up by watching episode 1 here:
The process has been brilliant. We posted a draft outline for episode 2 yesterday (alongside details of how the story had come about). The outline is exciting, with lots of different threads and clues. But even more exciting: we'd never have taken the story in this direction on our own. A secret society of bibliophiles called Invisible Inc.?! Great idea, but not ours!
We're currently working on storyboards for episode 2 - for regular updates keep an eye on The Lost Book blog.
