I'm just talking a moment out from The Lost Book to think about EIFAC, the Edinburgh International Film Audiences Conference. Papers were due in last week, so we're seeing some really interesting work. It's fascinating to see what all those promising abstracts have turned into.
It's only two months to the conference (26-27 March) so we're encouraging people to get their booking in. Spaces are very limited!
Here's the video currently playing on the Filmhouse's cafe/bar screens to advertise EIFAC. It's not produced by us, but by a volunteer called Danny.
The Lost Book, by the way, is going brilliantly. Episode 1 launches next Friday, 30 January!

lost book press
The Lost Book website is up and running and attracting lots of interest, even though episode one of the web series won’t launch until 30 January.
The Edinburgh Evening News says ‘Animation draws out storytellers’. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra features their involvement in the project in January’s SCO News (page 6). And, BookCrossing has announced the project with the article ‘The Lost Book: Interactive Reading’.
Take a look at The Lost Book’s blog to find out how production is going. This week, composer Alexis Bennett has been blogging about his work.
